P-Box shortwave regenerative radio kit


This is a LOW-COST version of our Radio Shack Science Fair 3 transistor Short Wave receiver kit,

Complete radio kit, same overall circuit design as our replica kit. The differences are listed below.


* - Kit utilizes a piece of 7x9 cm (2.75 x 3.5 inch), perfboard for assembly. It will be necessary for you to enlarge holes as necessary.

* - Kit uses a variable polyvaricon tuning capacitor. This is a more reliable part than the original style.

* - Silicon transistors are used in the audio amplifier instead of germanium.



Kit may come with carbon composition or carbon film resistors. Powered by one 9-volt battery, not included. Kit comes with ALL parts shown. Includes nylon hardware for board support, which will not scratch surfaces. Complete with antenna wire.

Comes with a copy of the original instructions as scanned jpeg images on a CD-R, and addendum information sheet.

Ships by First Class Mail in padded envelope.
