This is for a lovely antique figural monk pocket toothpick and ear spoon from the early 1800s. It is made from two colour buffalo horn with detailing on both sides to the cloth and the monks hands. These are stained black to contrast the natural horn. It is designed so the monks head and feet slide inside the habit and the ear spoon and tooth pick are on the other end of the feet. It is in excellent condition and it measures 15mm across by 55mm just over 2" long closed. Please check out all the other general antiques, objects of virtue, writing implements, scientific and optical instruments, art nouveau and art deco items, vanity and smoking requisites and all the other vintage ladies & gentleman's accessories we are selling this week.
