Arcteryx Beta SL Jacket

Designed to stay unnoticed until it’s needed, the SL, which stands for 'Super Light', is a compressible waterproof which is incredibly breathable and weighs a scant 315 grams, making it amazingly functional for longer trips. The shell is made from a cut of N40r GORE-TEX fabric which is 100% waterproof. I've seen it in action, and it's almost as if there's no moisture at all. With Paclite product technology, the Beta is a perfect travel companion.
Careful, efficient construction techniques allow Arcteryx to use micro seam allowances and tiny GORE seam tape which reduces fabric requirements and improves breathability. Carefully articulated patterning and gusseted underarms provide freedom of movement without adding bulk. The low profile StormHood offers complete coverage with a streamlined design. This is a true minimalist’s hardshell, designed to be light, small and efficient. You don't need much more for a well planned trip.
