KEN HOWARD - AUTOGRAPHED SIGNED PHOTOGRAPH - HFSID 36622

KEN HOWARD
A signed black and white publicity photograph of the actor wearing suit and tie
Photograph signed: "Ken Howard". B/w 8x10. Tony Award-winning actor Ken Howard (1944-2016) achieved stardom on the stage in 1969, when he played Thomas Jefferson in the hit musical 1776 (1969-1972). He later reprised the role in the 1972 film version. He won the Tony Award for Best actor for Child's Play in 1970, the same year he made his big screen debut. In 1973, Howard and frequent co-star Blythe Danner starred in Adam's Rib, a TV series version of the Tracy-Hepburn film. Neither that series nor Howard's subsequent shows, Manhunter (1974) and It's Not Easy (1983) did well in the ratings. Howard eventually found small screen success as Ken Reeves, a basketball coach at Los Angeles' Carver High School, in the hour-long dramatic series The White Shadow (1978-1981). He later had a recurring role as Garret Boydston on both Dynasty (1981-1989) and its spin-off, The Colbys (1985-1986). More recent recurring credits include Crossing Jordan (2001-2007) and 30 Rock (2006-2013). His film credits include Clear and Present Danger (1994), At First Sight (1999), and The Judge (2014). The well-respected actor was elected to be President of the Screen Actors Guild in 2009, a position he held until his death in 2016. Lightly creased at corners. Otherwise, fine condition.
