This is another fine example of great Mid 20th century briar pipes. This pipe is rusticated and has a very nice look and feel. It was well used and pretty caked up when I first picked it up at an antique shop (nobody ever caked up a bad smoking pipe in my opinion), but it cleaned up very nicely. The stem did need some work at the bit and still shows some teeth chatter but it is in good shape overall. There were no holes, cracks or burnouts and the briar bowl is in great condidtion. I have reamed and cleaned as well as sanitized and hand polished this one. Please see all the pictures and feel free to ask any questions.

Here is a bit of information about Knickerbocker pipes that I found on Pipedia.org.

The Knickerbocker Pipe Co. (officially the "Knickerbocker Smoking Pipe Company, Inc.") was headquartered in Brooklyn, New York, with its corporate business address in the Time-Life Building at 1271 Avenue of the Americas in New York, New York. The company was dissolved December 23, 1992.

In addition to pipes, other items such as cuff links and tie clasps were sold by the company
