Installation Precautions
  • BOSCH motorsport recommends the following fuel filter specs to maintain warranty:
  • 5 Micron at 82% efficiency. > 35 Micron 100% efficiency. 
    Thus what this means is that most of the stainless steel inline filters sold today at 10 Micron or 40 micron are not going to work and will block your injectors and cause trouble down the line! Bosch will not cover warranty on blocked injectors that have greater than 35 micron particles inside. We can service the injectors in Melbourne for a fee with our new injector testor machine and ultrasonic cleaning. 
  • We use and highly recommend OEM Denso / Toyota Fuel filters found on the JZA80 Supra. It is recommended that you run 2 in parallel with the appropriate fittings so you can still maintain a highflow rate while filtering out all the elements. OEM Denso fuel filters are one of the best on the market. 
  • If you want an aftermarket inline filter, then the Injector Dynamics F750 is avilable for $499 Shipped Australia Wide with your injector purchase. This is a Bosch Motorsport approved product and E85 safe. 

  • "Resistance to Fuel Contamination - Quality of the Medium. Dirt particles and contaminants in fuel

    represent a potential danger to the fuel injectors. They are to be avoided in order to preserve the correct

    function of the injectors. The dirt content in the fuel system must therefore be minimized via a suitable

    filter. Recommended filter quality: nominal rating 5µ, minimum 82% capture efficiency according to ISO/TR

    19438; dirt particles >35µ are not permissible. The basket filter in the injector serves only to catch

    residual particles. Nonconformance of the recommended filter quality can cause damage to and failure of

    the components" - Bosch Motorsport.

Available at our workshop and dyno in Moorabbin. Price on application. Custom tuning required and ECU calibration required. 

Disclaimer:
2 year return to base warranty on item only. Does not cover damage from blockages, bad fuel, rust from alcohol or clogged lines / filters. Service charge may apply if injector is found to be blocked/damaged from debris or a poor fuel system or bad wiring. We can attempt to recondition, back flush or restore the injector at your cost and also supply single injectors at a reduced cost for our customers. 

You must tune your car/ECU for the new injectors before you start your engine!
