This is for a nice little Georgian trinket box from the early 1800s. The lid has a silver cartouche for engraving and the hinged lid is released when the button at the front is pressed. It is a simple design with a brass hinge and it is in good condition with surface wear to the edges. There is play in the hinge and the box measures 64mm (2.5") x 30mm (1.25") and stands 25mm (1") tall.
