If there is an issue with shipping or the item, you purchased please contact us via eBay messaging before opening a case or leaving feedback. Customer satisfaction is our number one priority, and we will try our best to resolve any problem. Leaving negative feed voids warranty!

All the hardware with the item is being provided for free with the purchase. Superior-123 bear no responsibility for the missing or not fitting hardware, we will try our best to send you the right hardware every time shown in the picture.

A replacement will not be dispatched until we receive the faulty or damaged parts back.

Returns

We aim to provide you the good buying experience, 35 days return policy is offered in our store.

Please follow our return policy before you return any item(s):

Please note you MUST contact us to obtain a Return Authorization Number before returning any part or open a return request through EBAY.

Any parcel without the Return Authorization Number will be rejected.

If your item is faulty or was incorrect, you must contact our sales representative before returning the parcel and we will endeavour to solve the problem effectively.

Video or picture is required to show the item condition before we issue the Return Authorization Number.

RETURNED Items must be in new, unused condition, and in the original packaging as you received it and the SEAL NOT Broken or Opened.

It is your responsibility to make sure you are purchasing the correct item.

The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs if we do not offer FREE RETURNS for the item that you purchased.

If you receive your order and find something is missing or damaged, please contact with us within 24 hours of receiving your order.

WARRANTY

VIN NUMBER AND ODO MUST BE PROVIDED AT A TIME OF PURCHASE

Provide a sales receipt and a vehicle diagnostic report when inquiring about the warranty.

The following are not covered under warranty

Broken ceramic inside the converter this can be caused by misfiring issue on the vehicle

Fuel smell inside the converter completely dark ceramic this can be caused by excessive fuel burning from the vehicle engine

Dent broken converters

Modification done to the converter by the buyer

Buyer is required to follow our return policy for warranty claim.

We will not resend product before we get the returned item from customers.

The customer is responsible for all freight charges incurred with the exchange. This includes the original freight cost to the customer.

Only items authorized for warranty service that pass warranty inspection will be processed. Unauthorized customer warranties or warranty items that do not meet warranty criteria as stated by the manufacturer, or do not pass a warranty inspection will be denied and returned, if requested, at the customer's expense. Unclaimed denied warranty returns will be destroyed.

Warranty items will be replaced with the same or equivalent items. Refunds will not be given in a warranty circumstance.

Catalytic Converter Diagnostics

Converters don’t fail on their own. Before replacing a converter, make sure to follow these steps:

1- Retrieve and repair all PCM trouble codes, check for any available TSBs or PCM re—flash updates.

· On some vehicles, the manufacturer may have issued Technical Service Bulletins indicating re-flash updates of the PCM are required to resolve emissions problems.

2- Repair all exhaust system leaks.

· A small leak anywhere in the exhaust system can draw a significant amount of oxygen into the system.

3- Make sure the vehicle is in proper fuel control.

· Proper AFR (Air / Fuel Ratio) is essential for converter efficiency.

· Front 02 sensor should be switching around 450 mV

· Rear 02 sensor is above or equal to 450 mV, typically 650 - 85 0 mV. (On most applications)

4- Test for contamination.

· An internal leak in the cooling system would allow coolant to enter the exhaust system and poison the catalytic converter.

5- Choose the correct part for the application.

· States complying with Federal / EPA emissions standards use vehicle Year, Make, Model and Engine Size.

· States complying with California Air Resources Board (CARB) emissions standards use vehicle Year, Make, Model, Engine Size and Engine Family Number (EFN).

Failure to follow these recommendations may result in a recurrence of the original emissions-related problem and could damage the new converter.

COMMON NON-WARRANTABLE CONVERTER FAILURES

1- OVERHEATED, MELTED OR BROKEN

Potential causes:

1. Misfires

· Low Compression

· Poor spark, or no spark

2. AFR cylinder imbalance

2- COATED / OIL-FOULED SUBSTRATE

Potential Causes:

1- Excessive Carbon build-up in Exhaust

2- Internal coolant leaks (head/ intake gasket)

3- Use of non-converter-safe gasket sealants

4- Excessive oil consumption (burning oil)

5- Improper fuels or additives (diesel)

3- STRUCTURAL DAMAGE

Potential causes:

1- Corrosion

2- Thermal shock

3- Metal fatigue / Stress fractures

4- Cracked manifolds can cause false O2 readings.

5- Stripped O2 Sensors threads

6- Flex pipe failure
