A single-celled, blue-green algae, Chlorella vulgaris is sourced from an island in the South China Sea. Chlorella is cultivated in filtered natural water under strict controls. Rich in organic matters, Chlorella is a popular basis for detoxification programmes. Chlorella embodies a plethora of key vitamins and minerals including calcium, iron, phosphorous and potassium. The Chlorella cell is protected by a tough wall. This cell wall is broken using high impact jet spraying which preserves the nutritional integrity of the cell contents so that these are accessible and undamaged when consumed.
