Please place your order and send your photo and text information through ebay messages by going to your purchase history and then selecting the contact seller option from the dropdown list. You can then upload the photo by using the attach photo button or the camera icon when using the app.

Alternatively you can send over your photo to our email address, the details can be found on either your order or payment confirmation. If sending an email please make sure you include your ebay ID. Sorry but Ebay will not allow me to send you my email address on their messaging service. (You can send your photo prior to purchase, to check that they are suitable for your chosen item, although we cannot always guarantee engraving results.)

You can have any image which can be a photo, hand and footprints, fingerprints, Children's drawing or handwriting. Or you could have any text. You can have the same engraving on both cufflinks or a different design on each. They come with a free cufflink gift box or you can upgrade to a chrome giftbox, which can be engrave with text. We are happy to accommodate any design requests and you are welcome to send any images to us before purchase to check that they are suitable for your chosen item, although we cannot always guarantee engraving results.

Our items are made from high quality stainless steel and do not contain nickel and do not tarnish. They make great gifts and keepsakes for any occasion including Valentines, Birthdays, Weddings, Anniversaries, Baby Births, Christmas, Mothers & Fathers Day or a lovely way to remember a lost loved one.

The image is engraved onto the items, the image has a holographic effect and will appear lighter / darker at different angles. The item is Stainless Steel and therefore silver in colour, and has a high polished mirror finish.

Photo Requirements

Please ensure your image is not blurry and not too dark, please do not crop or reduce the size of your image and ensure that there is not a bright background behind the subject. The image that you send can be black and white, sepia or full colour, this does not have any effect on the engraved result. To get the best engraving results we will edit the image and where required remove backgrounds (unless specified otherwise).

Send us your chosen text, making sure you use the correct grammar, punctuation and spelling, as we will copy and paste your text from the email directly on the engraved item.

Design Requirements

Please send us any additional information regarding your order, for instance layout requests and if you require any symbols or emoji’s. If we do not receive any instructions regarding your layout we will add the layout we feel looks best. 

Tips for children's drawings or handwritten messages

The best results come from using dark pencils or felt pens on a white background (although you can send us any drawing and we can edit it before engraving it, if in doubt you can email the drawing prior to purchase). Please scan or take a bird’s eye photo of the drawing / handwriting. If taking a photo please avoid shadows over the drawing. 

Tips for taking hand and footprints

Inkless Wipes

Available to but separately – please message for details
Inkless wipes are used to take hand and footprints and are a less messy alternative to using paint and often give better results. Our inkless wipe pack contains a wipe that leave a clear residue on the hands and 2x A5 pieces of special paper to take the prints on. The inkless wipes can be found in the accessories section and are normally despatched with 24 hours of you placing your order.

Dark Paint on White Paper

You can also use a dark coloured paint on white paper to take the prints. Black paint is best. Once you have taken the print(s) please scan or take a high quality, bird’s eye photo of the print and email send it through ebay.

Alternatively you can take a photo of the hand and foot. I will remove the background, but please make sure the image is not blurry and without shadows.

The items are personalised, therefore we cannot accept refunds or returns unless a mistake as been made by us

We will copy and paste your chosen text from your email onto the engraved item, therefore we cannot be held accountable for any mistakes made on your email. 

Unless specified we will edit and remove backgrounds where we feel you would have the best engraving results. Therefore we cannot be held accountable if you are not happy with the end result.

The engraved images are only as good as the originals sent to us.

We can post items out in time for certain dates but cannot accept refunds if Royal Mail are late or loose your item. As per Royal Mail guidelines replacements will be sent after 10 workings days after expected delivery date.

Photos of your engraved items maybe be used for advertising unless specified otherwise. 

Please send the requested information at time of purchase so that your order is not delayed, make sure it is sent through ebay or to our email address found on your order / payment confirmation, make sure you include your ebay ID otherwise we might not be able to match it to your order. Delivery lead time is from receipt of required information.
