These specialist capsules are manufactured entirely from Pharmaceutical grade HPMC (Hypromellose) which is obtained from the natural plant cellulose in pine trees and is entirely vegan in origin and manufacture. They contain no Phthalates, added chemicals, solvents or other coating polymers.
The capsules have unique polymer properties, formulated within the capsule itself, to slow the capsule opening after swallowing protecting the contents from stomach acid and ensuring delayed release in the intestine without the need for a chemical enteric coating.
The actual performance of these capsules in the human body has been verified by an independent laboratory, Bio-Images Research, who conducted a gamma scintigraphic in vivo study. This human clinical study evaluated the disintegration behaviour of these capsules in human subjects. Disintegration started approximately 45 minutes later than a typical immediate release capsule with complete release occurring 20 minutes after the onset of release and, for the majority of subjects, complete release took place in the intestine.

Our capsules are supplied in heat-sealed, airtight Mylar bags with a secondary re-sealable internal airtight seal. The internal seal will allow you to re-seal the pack each time you take out capsules, keeping the remaining capsules in pristine condition.
