If you are not 100% satisfied with your order, PLEASE SEND US A MESSAGE via eBay messages. We are here to serve you. The Notorious Comic Shop is not perfect but we strive to be. If an error is made or your item becomes lost or damaged in the mail, we will do everything possible to ensure a positive transaction. Please understand there are things that are out of our control such as distributor shortages, distributor damages and postal service issues. This is why, if there is an issue with your transaction we expect the opportunity to make it right. Because we will.
SHIPPING / ESTIMATED DELIVERY
Orders will ship within 48 hours of purchase date Monday-Friday as long as…
· You purchased more than one comic and all items in your order have been released. Release dates can be found at the end of the items title. If your order includes items that have not yet been released your order will ship within 48 hours of all items in your order being released. Because we specialize in combining large subscription orders on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis we only ship single comic orders once per week on Thursday’s. This is the one exception to our above 48-hour shipping rule.
We make new comics available for purchase 30 days in advance of their release every Tuesday. We do this to allow customers the chance to save even more with combined shipping. For this reason, the estimated delivery date that eBay is advertising may be inaccurate. To see combined shipping rates, click the shipping and payments tab next to the description tab or click see details next to the shipping price.
Per eBay policy, all pre-ordered items will ship within 30 days of the purchase date. However, most orders ship much sooner as explained in the above shipping rule we advertise. Tracking will always be uploaded to eBay when your order ships for your convenience.
PACKAGING
Below we have included all of the packaging methods that will be used to complete your order. After more than 10 years as an online comic book retailer we have found that these methods are effective more than 99% of the time despite the postal services worsening standards. Damaged merchandise and customer satisfaction is something that we take very seriously and track extensively.
Individual bags and boards are not included with your order because of our aggressive shipping prices and discounting practices. If you wish to purchase bags and boards they are available for sale in our store in the supplies category. You will however receive free bags and boards with your purchase when you qualify for our advertised free shipping promotion. All orders will ship via economy shipping services.
Packaging methods for 1 comic.
Comic ships bagged in a manila envelope sandwiched between one piece of cardboard and a comic backing board. Package will be stamped Do Not Bend in red on both sides and labeled Fragile.
Packaging methods for 2-3 comics.
Comics ship bagged together, sandwiched between one piece of cardboard and a comic backing board. Comics are then placed in a Uline stay flat mailer. Package will be stamped Do Not Bend in red and labeled Fragile.
Packaging methods for 4-12 comics.
Comics ship bagged together 3 to 5 comics per bag. Comics are then wrapped in packing paper and secured inside of a Uline quarter fold cardboard mailer so comics do not shift in transit. Package will be stamped Fragile in red.
Packaging methods for 12+ comics.
Comics ship bagged together 3 to 5 comics per bag. Comics are then wrapped in packing paper with additional packing paper padding the comics inside of a 50 lb Uline crush test box. Package will be stamped Fragile in red.
As stated above, we have found that our advertised packaging methods are effective more than 99% of the time. However, if you wish to have your order shipped using one of our other advertised packaging methods we are happy to do so for an upgraded cost. We do not want there to be any surprises when you receive your order which is why we advertise every aspect of our shipping process up front so you can make an educated decision as to if we are the retailer for you. We sincerely hope to earn your business.
Need to cancel or change an order? We can only guarantee cancellation of your order IF we receive an OFFICIAL cancellation request within eBay's time frame for cancelling orders. If you are outside of that time frame please send us an e-mail. If we can cancel your order prior to processing we will. If you wish to add something to an order, remove something from an order, or combine separate orders we will be forced to cancel the transaction and ask you to repurchase the merchandise. Please be aware that if pricing has changed since your original purchase we are unable to honor the price from your original transaction.
