Fine antique Blanc de Chine Goddess Kwan Yin Figurine
Vintage early 20th century. Estate find. Exquisite porcelain figurine of Kwan Yin, the "Goddess of Mercy". Standing on pedestal and holding a lotus flower, she is a symbol of compassion and wisdom. Wearing beautiful wind swept flowing robes and with a lovely serene expression on her face. The lotus flower refers to purity of mind and spirit.
Measures: One is 14" other is 15” tall
In very, very good condition for age. There are no cracks or chips and all fragile pieces like hands, flowers are still intact. Beautiful smooth white surface with a few tiny base glaze on the edge, which I really don't consider as damage, please check out picture #9. It's like some fine crazing in the glaze nothing else.
Stamped with maker’s mark on bottom - Will be shipped in double box protective with bubble wrap.
