The standard thickness shaved goat skin is suitable for most small and standard size djembes, and will provide the classic djembe sound with low bass, medium tones, and high, clear slaps. Each skin is selected from our on-hand inventory of hair-on goat hides from Mali, Ivory Coast, Guinea, Senegal, and Burkina Faso, and inspected for natural flaws or defects that could affect sound or longevity of the skin. Hair color and skin pigmentation vary, with the majority of top layer skin pigment being greyish-brown (shave deeper for whiter skin color). Skin Warranty: Before shipping each skin is inspected for natural flaws that may affect longevity or sound, and we will accept returns of new skins if a natural blemish is found upon arrival. Because the shaving, soaking, mounting, drying, and tuning processes ares subject to the skill of the drum builder, and to the natural strength of the skin, we cannot warranty skins once they have been soaked or shaved. You want it as fast as possible, and when you open the package you want the item you see to be the same item you you believed you were buying. HANDLING AND DELIVERY TIME

Our policy is to ship within 1 business day of payment (weekends and holidays do not count as shipping days). For domestic shipment the package will arrive within 1 week of shipping from our drum shop. For international shipments the delivery can take up to 30 days.

CARRIERS AND TRACKING

We normally ship using ground services from UPS and USPS, with delivery confirmation or tracking. This includes UPS Ground, and USPS First Class, Priority, and Media Mail. International shipments almost always are shipped using USPS Priority International Mail. Shipping information is automatically uploaded to your Ebay order when the label is created. You can track your package online using the carriers' websites (UPS.com and USPS.com).

Both customer and shipper rely on the third party shipping company to deliver the package on time and in good condition. In some cases they make mistakes, and we request your patience in accepting that both buyer and shipper must work together to resolve the carriers' mistakes when they happen. To help reduce errors we ask that you carefully check the address you provide upon checkout. In most cases we cannot change the shipping address once checkout has been completed.

For international orders we cannot be responsible for undelivered items; once we provide tracking and can show the item has left our drum shop, it is the buyer's responsibility to follow up with their country's shipping system if the item is not delivered. We have no control over final delivery once the item has left the United States.

FREE SHIPPING

Most of our items ship within the lower 48 states at no extra charge for ground service. International customers will pay a flat rate per item shipped, as displayed in the item detail. Shipping costs are recovered on returns of items that were shipped at no cost to the customer.

PACKAGING AND INSERTS

The heavier and larger a package, the more it costs to ship. We prefer to reduce shipping costs as much as possible, so we take advantage of light weight packaging and packing materials. We limit the materials we include with your item, so don't expect a lot of additional promotional material or product manuals to be included with your item.

For Ebay sales we use PayPal as the payment processor. Buyers are not required to have a PayPal account, and can use all major credit and debit cards for purchases from World Percussion USA. PayPal also accepts payment by checking or savings account (requires a free account and verification). In order to expedite delivery after you place your Ebay order, we require all items to be paid for immediately upon purchase.

We do our best to accurately describe each product, and strive to keep happy customers. In the rare event that the item must be returned, notify us within 14 days of purchase. Our Money Back Guarantee and Warranty applies to items returned within 30 days of shipping delivery.

DAMAGE OR DEFECT

If the return is due to damage or defect upon arrival notify us within 3 days of arrival, and we will replace or refund the item upon proof of damage. Keep all packing materials in case of shipping insurance investigation. All instruments are warrantied against defect for 30 days from delivery, which includes natural skin drum heads.

PERSONAL PREFERENCE

If the return is based on dislike of color, size, or sound, or misunderstanding of item description, you may return the product to our warehouse at your expense, and upon receipt of item in new condition, we will refund the purchase price less the cost of outbound shipping (in the case of free outbound shipping).

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

We cannot offer returns on goat and cow skins used as replacement drum heads once they have been soaked in water or installed on a drum. Once a drum has been tuned by applying additional tension the drum head warranty may be voided, based on seller's discretion. Hint: Do not overtune your drum by applying too much tension too quickly!

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

International purchases will not be refunded if tracking information shows the item was delivered within 30 days of shipping. A full refund of purchase price will be given if item is returned at buyer expense, and received in new condition
