1940s vintage Lord Elgin w/Black Dial & Hinged Lugs - 21 jewels

This wrist watch is about 70 years old and it is in very nice condition. The watch runs fine and keeps accurate time.  There are a few small areas of wear on the case.

The overall length of the watch is 50mm.  The width of the case is 21.5mm.

The dial is marked "LORD ELGIN." The dial is original and it is in excellent condition.

The movement is marked "ELGIN 626  U.S.A.   4 ADJ'S  J849761     21 JEWELS." The movement looks clean. 

The inside of the case is marked "CASED & TIMED BY ELGIN NATIONAL WATCH CO  14K GOLD FILLED  SCHWAB & WUISCHPARD   729300."

The band is a replacement.  It is a high quality "DeBeer Paris" watch band in new condition.
