A late 1950's sweet little ceramic fish mouth vase in a characteristically 1950's modernist shape.  It has a fine beige grey crackle glaze and a light green interior with bands of blue grey, black, and gold lustre snaking around it.  There is a gold lustre back stamp at the base, but this is hard to read.  My guess is that this vase may be Italian.

This vase measures 16.5cm at it's tallest point and is about 6.5cm in diameter.  It weighs about 220 grams and holds about 170 ml (6 fluid ounces) of water

It would look good in a display of vases from the same era.

It is in very good vintage condition with some wear to the gold lustre at the top rim of the vase.  The four black lines are broken up, whereas the gold lustre lines are intact, this being due to design, not wear.  Overall in good condition.  Please see my photographs for your appraisal.

Please take a look at my other vintage and retro items.  Thank you for looking in!
