Charger Mk II - Manufactured and first issued April 1906 thru Feb 1916.  Long slots on the back, a pair or circular and oval holes each side.  my remainng examples are "B" grade and have more rust and surface finish loss - price lowered to reflect this.

Charger Mk III - Manufactured and first issued Feb1916 thru Oct 1917.  4 circular holes staggered on the back, 5 circular holes each side.

Charger Mk IV - Manufactured and first issued Oct 1917+  4 circular holes each side - long solid retention tab.

Charger Mk IV* - Manufactured and first issued Oct 1917 thru 1945 - 3 circular holes each side 1 oval hole into the retention tab.

Charger Mk 4 - Manufactured and first issued 1945+  Same as Mk IV* but with new standard Arabic number mark stamp.

Charger Mk VI - same as the MkIII design - From NOS occupied Europe boxes (Italy) dated 1945 also for the Korean campaign? 

Unmarked chargers in "MkIV* / Mk4" format with a smooth black finish - great for use and pouch filling.

Some available in large multiples. 10 chargers fill a bandolier, 40 chargers is 4 bandoliers and equals a Rifleman's standard ammunition issue, 60 chargers is 6 bandoliers and fills a single ammunition "spam can"
