Machine Embroidery USB Drives/Flash Drives/Memory Sticks

Your Choice of 256 MB, 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB, 8 GB, or 16 GB Memory Size

Do you need a new USB drive for your embroidery machine?  Does your Pfaff or Janome require a USB no larger than 1 GB?  I have Memory Sticks in 256 MB, 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB, 8 GB, and 16 GB sizes.  The drives come in various colors and styles (see pictures for examples).  You will receive my choice of color and style.  You may request a specific color and/or style, but you get my choice if it is not available.  All drives are tested before shipment to make sure they will be recognized by your Windows computer.  The prices given are for one drive or one set of drives.

These are the same drives that I use to send out embroidery designs, so I know they work with compatiable embroidery machines.  Please consult your embroidery machine operating manual to ensure that the drive selected will work with your machine.  Some machines will work only with drives up to 1 GB or 2 GB.  No returns will be accepted if you buy a drive and it does not work with your machine because its memory is too large.

Every machine that uses USB drives is different on how they are used.  Before using a USB drive in your machine, read your machine's operating manual carefully.  Before using a USB drive in your machine, read your machine's operating manual carefully.  Before using a USB drive in your machine, read your machine's operating manual carefully.  I said this three times because it is VERY important.  You cannot just put a USB drive in your machine and have it magically transfer the design.  The USB comes to you formatted in Windows FAT format.  I have found that embroidery machine USBs come in four basic types: (1) The USB will work just as you receive it since some machines (especially newer, expensive machines) will accept and use Windows formatting.  You read and write to the USB just as you would on your computer., (2) Some machines require that you "format" the USB stick either in your embroidery machine or your computer (using the machine vendor's software).  The Bernina 340, the Janome 350e, and many other machines require this type of formatting before the USB can be used.  Consult your operating manual on how to do this.  I do not have your machine or your software so I cannot do this for you., (3) Some machines will use Windows formatting on the USB stick but require that all designs are in the lowest level of the USB stick's memory (no folders or directories on the stick).  The Brother PE-770 is one of these machines.  Any designs in a folder will not be "seen" by the machine, and (4) Some machines require that the USB stick be formatted and written with special software before it can be used.  For example, the Viking Designer 1 and 2 machines with the USB option requires that Viking software, BuzzXplore, Embird, or other compatiable software be used to format the USB and write the designs in specifically-named folders before it can be read by the machine.   Know your machine.  Read your manual first.

Return Policy - Since I test each USB before I ship it, I am rarely asked to allow their return.  However, a recent problem with another item requires me to spell out my Return Policy in detail.  Ebay allows sellers to have a Return Policy separate from the standard Ebay policy.  Mine is as follows: You return the nonworking USB to me at your expense (it currently costs me about $3 for postage to mail the media to you). I check the USB on my computer when I receive it. If there is a problem with it, I will send you a new USB, pay for your First Class postage, and send you a heart-felt apology. If the USB is good, I let you know and ask you what you want done with your working USB. If you want it back, you will have to pay for postage. This way the buyer gets the USB they paid for and is not out any additional money.  I don't give refunds - just replacement memory sticks.  When I first started selling on Ebay, I took returns through the Ebay Return System. However, I found that people were buying items, claiming that they were "bad", and returning the "good" disks to me at my cost. I quickly saw that I was being taken advantage of and changed my Return Policy to the one described above. If you buy a USB, I will make sure that you get a working USB.  By bidding on this auction or clicking on "Buy It Now", you confirm that you understand this policy and agree to it.  If you do not agree to this policy, PLEASE DO NOT BUY.
