This Beautiful trinket box appears to be marble but I think it is actually resin. I really am not sure. It has a beautiful shell design on the lid and is lined with black velvet. It has a little chain to keep the lid from over-extending. The lid is hinged with 2 brass hinges. The bottom has black felt that is dusty.

This box has no chips or cracks.
