This is a Caprock brand lamp that is fully compatible with the Fusion Systems / Heraeus 558394D OEM lamp, but at a better price.   Unlike standard medium pressure UV curing lamps, Fusion Systems lamps are excited to run by microwave energy. The lamps are not directly connected to electrical power and have no electrodes. The 558394 / 558394D is a six-inch iron-doped lamp designed to run at 600 watts per inch to cure cans, folding cartons, tags, labels, cups, tubes, resilient flooring, plastic film, and glass. They are also used in several flatbed inkjet printers including those by HP (F500, FB6100, HP 6, HP6), Nur (Expedio 3200, Expedio 5000,Expedio, Inspiration, Tempo, Tempo II, Tempo Q) and Scitex (XP2100, XP2300, XP2700, XP5100).
