Lee Oskar

Lee Oskar made his name as a leading session and recording artist through the 1970s and 80s, lending his highly distinctive harp style to classic hits such as "The Cisco Kid," "Low Rider," and "Why Can't We Be Friends." Oskar's staccato phrasing and uncanny tone — put to great use blowing horn-like unison riffs with saxman Charles Miller in Eric Burdon's seminal band, War, gave the band's funky stew of Latino, Caribbean, African, jazz, rock and R&B elements a distinctive lead voice.

Lee Oskar wanting something different from the harmonica and unable to find it in the other brands and models of the day, developed his own instrument with a host of innovations which he introduced to the World with critical acclaim in 1983.

We are located at shops 7-10 Shoalhaven Arcade, 19 Kinghorne Street, Nowra. We have a loading dock if you are picking up large items.
