Being Offered is this Awesome Old Eppelsheimer Chocolate Mold.

This is a commercial confectionery tray type mold that makes 24 Large Candies. Each candy is shaped like half an egg and features a nicely detailed Easter Bunny design that depicts a rabbit pulling carrots out of a box. As you can see this cool old Easter Bunny themed mold has been used and used a lot, when found it was hanging on the wall and being displayed as machine age art. 

Now I am by no means a confectioner but I really wanted to see if this mold would still function as intended so I rigged up a makeshift double boiler and melted some chocolate from the local wally world and wallah it works, it makes pretty nice candies even the egg with the worst looking finish came out nice.  

I filled each egg and the finished candy weighed on average 2.5 ounces and measured approx 3 & 1/8th inches long by 2 & 1/8th inches wide and 1 & 1/8th inches thick (I guess you could also just coat the mold and make eggshells). So I am now a retired amateur candy maker but before I quit I did make up a batch of these special treats to share with my family this coming Easter.

 This wonderful old mold is very heavy it weighs right at 7 & 1/2 pounds, it measures 14 & 3/8th's inches wide by 14 inches long and is about 1 & 1/4 inches deep. Mold is signed & dated "Eppelsheimer & Co., New York, Jan 1941".  This Rare Old Eppelsheimer Chocolate Mold is truly unique and would will serve you well as wall art or used as a mold or both!
