You are looking at a pair of gorgeous cufflinks, each set with an authentic United States 2014 Native American Sacagawea Dollar BU Uncirculated Coin. One shows REVERSE in front - Native Hospitality and one shows OBVERSE in front - Sacagawea and Her Infant Son. The reverse design depicts a Native American man offering a pipe while his wife offers provisions of fish, corn, roots and gourds. In the background is a stylized image of the face of William Clark's compass highlighting "NW," the area in which the expedition occurred. The obverse design, by Glenna Goodacre, depicts the young Shoshone woman, Sacagawea, portrayed in three-quarter profile. In the Shoshone verbal legend, Sacagawea is described as having large dark eyes, a feature included in this portrait relief. On her back, Sacagawea carries her infant son Jean Baptiste, who she carried and cared for on her entire 3,000-mile portion of the expedition with Lewis and Clark. The diameter of cufflinks is 27.6mm. The cufflinks are made of solid brass with gold or silver plating, and have never been used before. I only use these coins with readable dates, never try to clean them, and always keep their collectible and numismatic values. I hope you end up with one of these beautiful coin cufflinks. These cufflinks will be great for gift, wearing or just adding to your collection. Thanks!!!
