2- AA Batteries required, per candle, not included.

Candles have an automatic timers.  When you turn the candles on, by inserting the 2-AA batteries, 

they will stay on for 6 hours and turn off for 18 hours.

These candles will come back on and turn off the same time each day.

To light the candles, simply insert 2-AA batteries, tighten the bases and enjoy.

Perfect for that grungy, primitive look.
