A unique set of bookends that also act as individual Edison lamps. The bases for these are oak, and cut into the shape of a toe pincer coffin, both on the top and bottom, and stained with a Cabernet red finish on the inside, and dark walnut on the outside. The gallows are made from pine, and stained with a dark walnut finish. Each have been coated in multiple layers of lacquer and gloss sealer for long lived protection and beauty. The gallows rope is a twisted red, cloth covered wire and the socket is candelabra sized with a black coated finish. The bulbs are 25 watt and have a squirrel cage filament, they are included. They are operated by the on/off toggle switch located approximately 1' from the base, and wired individually so they can be placed however you like, and each have a 8' cord. They are large and heavy, standing at about 14" tall and 14" long each. Fitted with rubber feet. A LOT of time and work went into these, and I am very proud of them.

This is a handmade item. Produced one by one, by me. It may have small flaws, which add to the charm of artisan works. No two are 100% alike, but none of these will affect the function at all. You are buying the one pictured.
