ANTIQUE 19TH CENTURY NEEDLEPOINT FRAGMENT SMALL LUMBAR PILLOW

So this piece came off a larger needlepoint and as a matter of fact you can see the 2 very large pillows that I took this piece from if you check out my listings. I used the same fabric on all 3 pillows so if you’re looking for a group, here you have one ready made.

Okay so this pillow has a small needlepoint measuring approx. 4” x 12”. The colors are all neutral brown, tan, cream. There are missing stitches through-out with some done on purpose around the flower to highlight it. If you are a perfectionist then this pillow may not be for you. But overall I think it looks great.

On each side of the needlepoint I used a fun ball and pom pom trim. On the sides I used a brown bullion trim and then on top of that I used a fancy brown and cream braid. On the top and bottom there’s a tricolor cord. I think because of the fabric I used  (it’s on the back as well) it has a modern edge.

This little gem of a lumbar pillow measures 12” x18”. There is hidden zipper closure for your convenience and a down and feather insert for a plush look and feel. The entire pillow is lined for extra durability. It is in excellent newly created condition with the needlepoint caveat. It comes from a smoke free home.
