Map of the New World, originally published in 1617. 

This map is a book plate taken very carefully from a book of maps published in 1997. Joan Blaeu was a Dutch mapmaker and his maps were originally produced in 1662. This map is a copy of one of his maps. It is in colour and is very detailed.  

It includes 9 small pictures of American cities and 10 pictures of people.

It really is a BEAUTIFUL map!!!

This map is in excellent condition and has been produced on thick, good quality paper. It has been been printed over 2 pages so consequently there is a fold in the middle of the page.  It measures approximately 17.5" X 13" (45cm x 33cm) and would look fabulous framed.
