Born and raised in the North East of England, Alex Clark has always preferred her animals to do the talking.  She has developed a deep affinity for the rolling countryside of her home that provides a backdrop to much of her work today.

Alex began her business in 1998.  Her workshop is located in an old sawmill by the banks of the Derwent in the village of Ebchester, where she has lived all her life.  It’s a natural haven for all sorts of wildlife with weasels, otters and just about every garden bird you can imagine likely to appear at any moment.  It is an environment that perfectly compliments the artwork that she publishes today.

Alex Clark’s mini prints are bright, cheerful, and colorful; the images are clear, sharp, and detailed.  The perfect blend of fun and function…to charm a child’s bedroom, sunroom, family room, kitchen, bathroom…almost any room in which a “bright spot of color” would be just the right wall accent.
