BIO: Lt. Col. Chuck Older (Deceased) WWII Flying Tigers TRIPLE ACE Pilot 18.50 Victories. He is the third highest scoring Ace Pilot of the Flying Tigers. On Christmas Day 1941 Lt. Col. Older engaged in an air battle downing 3 more Japanese planes receiving the status of an Ace Pilot. Recipient of 3 Distinguished Flying Crosses, 3 Air Medals, Bronze Star (4th highest military decoration), British Distinguished Flying Cross, Chinese Air Force Medal and the Order of the Cloud Banner.  Later in life he became a Judge appointed to the bench of the Los Angeles Superior Court by then Governor Ronald Reagan in 1967. In 1970 Judge Chuck Older was the Judge of the Charles Manson murder trial. The Manson girls attempted to murder Judge Older. At one point Charles Manson tried to attack Judge Older and had to be restrained by bailiffs. The trial lasted ten months, the longest in American history at the time.
