Johnson's Manuka Honey Shampoo & Conditioner is formulated to provide cleansing and conditioning of all types of coat, Leaving it feeling soft, glossy, tangle-free and smelling fresh. The shampoo deodorises and conditions the skin and coat. It is known the natural anti-bacterial qualities of active Manuka Honey may help to alleviate skin problems caused by insect bites, flea infestation and dry skin conditions, etc. It is particularly suitable for use with terriers and other breeds, which may have greasy fur and skin. Also ideal for use with horses, to cleanse and condition the coat and skin.
As a general guide use as below.
Small animals - (e.g. guinea pigs) - mix 10ml shampoo into 150ml warm water.
Cats - mix 15ml shampoo into 75ml warm water.
Medium sized dogs - mix 30ml shampoo into 75ml warm water.
Large dogs - 60ml shampoo into 300ml warm water.
Wet coat thoroughly with warm water and apply half the mixture all over the body. Massage well into coat, but use finger tips around head, taking care to avoid eyes, ears and mouth. Rinse and repeat with remainder of mixture, for good lather. Finally rinse well, towel dry, then brush and comb thoroughly. Keep pets warm after bathing.
Pets may be subject to flea infestation causing irritation and constant scratching, especially during summer and autumn months when periodic use of suitable flea treatment is advisable. Fleas from pets also infest animal's basket, bedding and regular resting areas. Such as carpets and soft furnishings which should be treated with a household insecticide and vacuumed regularly.
Warning - Causes serious eye irritation. Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Keep out of reach of children. Wear eye protection/face protection. If in eyes rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists get medical advice/attention.
