This listing is for an Old School Fingerboard Complete Mold Kit with included veneer and accessories to make three complete 1/8 scale, miniature fingerboards, and graphic veneer for SIX total decks! This kit is an AMAZING value and would make a fantastic gift!
You will receive:
-One NEW AND IMPROVED 3D Printed fingerboard mold and precision brass drill guide. Size: 163mm length x 40mm width x 33mm height.
-Three Shapers. Size 98mm x 33mm. Hosoi Hammerhead, Caballero Chinese Dragon, Hawk Chicken Skull
-Eighteen pieces of maple veneer pre-cut to fit the mold. Six with custom full color pre-printed graphics, six dyed cross grain (you can choose color, or will be random), and six regular straight grain. Sized 41mm x 108mm x .5mm (1 5/8" x 4 1/4" x .002").
-Six pieces of super thin, super sticky, PRO foam grip tape.
-Three sets 32mm trucks -silver-
-Three sets of wheels -Red, White, and Black-
-Three sets self stick board rails -Red, Lime, Black-
-Two pieces of foam to protect the veneer from mold lines.

The mold is authentically modeled around the Spoon Nose II, A classic Powell-Peralta golden age mold they made some of the original Bones Brigade’s decks from, and most other makers quickly copied. It features a concave "spoon nose" and a pronounced kick tail, both features helped give rise to modem day street tricks. This mold was designed and specifically intended for decks that were non-symmetrical nose to tail. This scale mold produces fingerboards with the following dimensions:
Length: 98mm
Width: 33mm
Wheelbase: 60mm
Nose: 5 degrees
Tail: 19 degrees
Concave: 1.2mm
The templates and graphics are of Christian Hosoi Vert Model "Hammerhead", Steve Caballero Chinese Dragon, and Tony Hawk "Chicken Skull" shapes.

The mold has thru hole locations done on CAD, so it can be used as a precision drill guide that perfectly matches up with the template, NEVER MIS-DRILL A BOARD AGAIN! The mold and shaper are printed from PLA+ (color will vary) at 50% infill to ensure excellent stability and long life. The mold centering method does not use flimsy pins, but large interlocking tabs that will absolutely NOT break off. When used with a vice(recommended), this mold can make hundreds of boards. C-clamps work excellent as well, although we suggest using a 1/2"+ piece of wood between the clamp and the mold to evenly distribute the clamping pressure. The shapers are 25mm tall, and the perfect height to be used as templates for router shaping.
The graphics on the bottom plies are not decals or heat transfers, they are permanent ink on bare wood and will NEVER peel, bubble or scrape off! They are STUNNING, CLEAR, and VIVID works of art in their own right. Simply cut a piece of wax paper to fit over the graphic and glue it up in your mold as usual as the bottom ply. After trimming and shaping, finish the wood with a protective seal coat of your choice. The cross grain plies are dyed with non toxic dye, and have a very cool pinstripe look when finished. These are natural pieces of maple, cut super thin. They will be sent in very flat condition, but some warping is normal if exposed to temperature and humidity fluctuations. If straightening is needed, very lightly moisten the piece, place between two layers of wax paper, and clamp between two hard, flat surfaces overnight (evenly distributed light pressure is sufficient).

(This is a tool, not a toy. Store in a dry, cool place. Do not store in a hot car or uninsulated garage, prolonged exposure to high heat can damage the mold. Do not overtighten your pressing device or use C-clamps without adding a board in between the mold and the clamp face. Apply even pressure when using this mold, certain types of vices that have excessive toe in can damage the mold. When finishing your boards, make sure to use a respirator approved for paint and lacquer fumes, a non approved respirator or dusk mask will not protect you.**THIS IS NOT A 100% INCLUSIVE FINGERBOARD KIT!...other things you will need not supplied: wood glue, wax paper, clamps or vice, shaping tools, drill and bits, sandpaper, clear coat for finish. All measurements are done manually, please allow variances of +/-1mm. Manufacturing irregularities common with 3D printers might exist, but do not effect the operation of the mold or the board rails.
