Unusual and attractive looking pair of almost matching mid Victorian plates for sale.

I believe that one was made by Bodley & co and the other was made by Thomas Foster & Sons.
Both carry the diamond registeration mark for the 14th September 1868.

They are in the Greek Neoclassical style which was very popular at the time.

The plates measure 24.5cm (9 3/4") across.

They are in good condition with no cracks or chips.
There is some marks / scratches in the decoration (especially in the centres) and other light surface scratches probably from use.
There is also a 1cm long mark on the back of the colourful plate which appears to be a manufacturing fault.
