Vintage Cool 180°

Waterless Coolant for Vintage Cars

Vintage Cool 180° is the coolant of choice for many restoration and vintage car specialists.
For manufacturers such as Eagle, no other coolant offers the complete protection of Evans waterless coolants..

No Water

Vintage Cool 180° contains no water eliminating the problems caused by water based coolants, increasing reliability and extending engine life.

Long Life

Vintage Cool 180° has been proven to last more than 20 years and a million miles in service without the need for replacement.

Protection

Vintage Cool 180° reduces cavitation erosion by 75% compared with water based coolants and eliminates oxidation corrosion.

-40°c to +180°c

Vintage Cool 180° has a boiling point above 180°c eliminating the risk of overheating and boil-over associated to water based coolants.

Low Pressure

Vintage Cool 180° generates 75% less vapour pressure than water based coolants, significantly reducing strain on hoses, seals and gaskets.

Non Toxic

Vintage Cool 180° has been tested and certified as Non Toxic by an EPA approved laboratory. It is biodegradable and will not bio-accumulate.

Application

vintage car engines that have pre-nodular cast iron blocks and many components made from copper and brass. Not suitable for engines using thermo-syphon cooling systems

ASTM & ISO Standards

Evans in association with ASTM committee D15.22 have developed a specific range of standards for waterless engine coolants. All Evans Coolants are manufactured in accordance with certified ISO procedural standards.

Prep Fluid

Evans Prep Fluid is a waterless cooling system flush engineered specifically to purge the cooling system of water-based antifreeze after draining and before installing new waterless coolant. Prep Fluid should be used when block drains are unavailable or cannot be removed. It is not a substitute for thoroughly draining the cooling system and related components. Prep Fluid is NOT intended to be a stand-alone operating coolant, but as a flush only.

Evans prep fluid is used to :
  1. Hygroscopically absorbs water
  2. Ensures all residual water is removed from the system
  3. Ensures that Evans coolants will meet the water content limits and provide peak performance
