Formulating Tips: Be aware that Aloe Vera contains a high percentage of mineral salts which mean it can weaken your emulsion system if you are making a cream or lotion.  Take care to check your stability when using Aloe to avoid product failure.  Aloe powder is heat stable and can be added at any time during manufacture. It can also tolerate a wide range of pH but is best between 4.5-8
