A very rare bronze dragon decorated box. Wooden lined purported to be a tea box , from private collection.

Has been in the family for at least 70 years.

No structural damage only normal patina and what appears to be some adhesive residue to the bottom as it does scrape off but I cannot be sure. Note - Two pics of the bottom - one before and one after light polishing.

This lovely box has a hinged lid and is airtight. Stamped China.

Measures 9.5” x 3” x 2” tall to top of raised décor on lid. Weight = 2 1/2 lbs.

Great antique condition.
