Stamp is from:  The Great Automoibiles of the World Stamp Collection, stamp comes mounted on the original collection sheet which features artwork drawings of the vehicle on the front, and the back of the sheet has a small write up of about 200-300 words in both English and French about the history of this aircraft.

SHEET MEASURES: 8 x 4 1/2 inches (20.5 x 11.5 cm) 

CONDITION: Near Mint-Mint condition sheet with no creases and the STAMP is MINT and is in a plastic holder that the stamp can be removed from if desired, the stamp is NEW and UNUSED vintage stock.

STAMP WAS ISSUED FROM: WEST GERMANY 1982

This sheet/stamp is from a subscription set released in the mid-1980s and featured stamps from around the world.  The series was released by THE FRANKLIN MINT / FRANKLIN PHILATELIC SOCIETY in association with LA FEDERATION INTERNATIONALE DE L'AUTOMOBILE.  Each stamp is this series was 100% authentic and ran live in the original issuing country and this is an uncirculated original stamp that the Franklin Mint went and bought up to present in this series.  The sheets in this set were released from 1983 to 1985 and each sheet has a copyright on the back as well as Printed in the USA (many stamps are much older than the panel sheet it was on so a lot of them the stamp and the panel do not have the same printing year).  Again, the stamps are from all over the world just the sheets were printed in USA.
