Agave horrida ssp horrida is a highly ornamental fast-growing Agave that forms a beautiful symmetrical rosette with rigid stubby oblanceolate leaves that are a very attractive glossy green in colour and often have a very faint paler central stripe. It has a dark terminal spine and dark marginal toothy spines that turn a papery white with age and closer to the growing centre of the rosette. It is a beautiful agave that will thrive in a pot of well drained soil in a sunny location.
