MOST OF THE AUTOS WERE ASSEMBLED WITH IMPORTED MATERIALS UNTIL 1960.

BY THE YEAR 2000, VENEZUELA RANKED FOURTH IN AUTOMOBILE PRODUCTION IN LATIN AMERICA.

GM CEASED TO OPERATE IN VENEZUELA WHEN THE GOVERNMENT SEIZED ITS ASSEMBLY PLANT IN 2017.
