For sale is a new in the box Rio SL048 1:43 scale 1933 Alfa Romeo P3 race car with Benito Mussolini driving. How cool is that?  

This model surprised me when I pulled it out of the storage case. There is some writing in Italian on the inside of the box talking about the historical context. Apparently Mussolini had a thing for Alfas. Well who wouldn't? ;)  

These Rio models were made in Italy, and are beautifully detailed. My father collected them during the 80's and displayed them on a shelf in their original boxes. They have been stored in a large case since he passed away in the early 2000s. We will be selling his collection so keep an eye out for lots of great cars.
