This lid also serves to protect the microwave from unsightly splatters during reheating. This 7211R-PC lid is made of non-porous, BPA-free plastic, so there is no worry about it absorbing food flavors or staining. This quality lid is made in the USA. It cleans up easily in the dishwasher on top rack only.
