The artisan master guitar maker who designed and hand makes this guitar model is a 61 year old gentleman who has been building guitars for 36 years. Since he retired from production work at the age of 60, he only makes this handmade model and some handmade special order guitars, for the love of making beautiful guitars. He designed and built the original first guitar of this model in 2014 for and in celebration of his love and devotion for his wife. Forty years ago she saved for 3 years to purchase her husband his first guitar. That gift set him on to his life journey and calling, to joyfully build great guitars. He uses only the best available woods: Rosewood, Red Spruce, Custom, and Mahogany, and the best grade of Abalone available in this guitar. The Red Spruce is in honor/symbolizes his heart felt love for his wife, and the Abalone fret board carvings depict the eternal flower vase and blooming flowers that honor his eternal love and gratitude to his wife. This guitar model is known as “The Little Queen Model”.
He makes only 6 or 7 of these guitars every 2 months. if you are interested in purchasing one of these “Little Queen” guitars, now is the time to get yours.

I am an elderly, 72 year old guitarist. I have been playing and collecting guitars for well on to 60 years, and I have had the pleasure of playing on some most expensive acoustic guitars. Back in the day I was in the habit of visiting the guitar area of Lyon and Healy, in Chicago, where all of the Martin’s, Gibson’s, Guild’s, and so many other fine acoustic guitars lived. I played them all, and in 1970 purchased my Guild 12 string guitar, which I still have, along with several other 50+ year old guitars.
Through the years, the one guitar that I still yearned for has been a small bodied 6 string parlor type guitar with lots of abalone inlay and a sweet sound. I had been looking at vintage Washburn’s, Martin’s etc., when I came upon an ad for the Zuwei that I recently purchased. I chose it because it looked like it is what I have been wanting for years. It is a traditional style, parlor type size guitar, handmade, and constructed of high grade traditional woods, Rosewood, Spruce, Custom, and richly appointed with rainbow toned abalone. The only question remaining for me was “How does it sound?”.
Well, my guitar arrived safe and sound, very well packaged, I must say, and I could not be happier. It is one of the most beautiful guitars that I have ever seen, and very well constructed. Its sound quality is superb: well-balanced bass to treble response, truly great overtone harmonics, excellent note sustaining quality, and the string setup is quite good in terms of playability. This guitar is a great value for the money. I am so grateful that I trusted my instinct to purchase my Zuwei.
