333 Trout All Purpose Floating Yellow

A durable, high-floating, general-purpose fly line available in a weight-forward taper. Designed to perform well with modern medium- to fast-action graphite rods, the original 333 was the industry’s first modern PVC fly line and has been a popular choice among avid fly anglers for over 50 years.

In 1915 Cortland Line began manufacturing the first “tapered” fly lines. Then in 1953 Cortland introduced the 333 fly line series, and in 1962 the 444 series. Our fly lines are still manufactured and hand inspected in Cortland, New York with the latest advancements in fly line technology. Styled after our fly line boxes of the 1920’s-30’s, the Classic Series pays respect to our history.
