Extremely Rare Art Deco Edwardian Birmingham 1910 Sterling Silver Mechanical Clerk Hotel Store Desk Bell ! Fully hallmarked. Base approximately 11 cm (4 4.5/16 inches) in diameter, with the height from the push button surface being approximately 7.8 cm (3 1/16 inches). Light signs of wear, the mechanical interior has some bangs and impact marks but is in perfect working condition, simply wind and press et viola, ring. Art Nouveau and Art Deco hotels were the most eloquent in the world particularly those in England and France. This beautiful design is revolutionary in its futurism since it is of the earliest example of Art Deco while Art Nouveau is still very much alive.
