We offer for sale a RARE ORIGINAL TIN FEATHERED PELICAN on WHEELS with FISH in its BEAK - BATTERY OPERATED TOY produced in JAPAN circa 1960's.
As you can see in the photos this VERY NICE RARE BATTERY OPERATED TIN PELICAN w FISH in his MOUTH comes in used condition with some dirt around due to age. The body is covered with soft feathers/mohair fur, the wheels underneath come in good place and condition and the orange rear feet and the beak are made of hard plastic. The green hat and the eyes are made of tin. Please check that the battery case of the tin toy is VERY CLEAN and the ON/OFF switch is in good place and condition (please see all photos).
We have tried the batteries but the pelican doesn't seem to operate. An antique rare to find anymore tin toy reminiscent of the past artefacts.
