I have here for sale a number of new, genuine, high quality Shimano cup and cone hub components for Shimano hubs. Shimano hubs are well known to be tried and tested, robust and durable, and are known to last a very long time if properly maintained, so it is worth replacing worn or damaged parts with genuine Shimano components where possible. Replacing parts is usually much easier and cheaper than replacing the hub/wheel.

A) Freehub Body for Cassette Hub (15+17+18 in diagram above). This new, well sealed freehub is supplied with the hollow body fixing bolt and the freewheel body washer, and is compatible with many 8/9/10 speed Shimano road or mtb hubs, and is compatible with all current Shimano, Shimano compatible and SRAM 8/9/10 speed cassettes. This freehub is not compatible with Shimano hubs made before mid 80's, DuraAce Pre-97/FH78XX/FH79XX series, RM30/60/65/66, Silent Clutch hubs, and Shimano freehubs that require tools other than a 10mm allen key for removal. To use it on Shimano hubs other than Deore M510, M525, M570 and M555, you may need drive side cone, spacers and seals different to existing to maintain the same locknut position (5.5mm from end of axle), so the Drive Side Cone and Locknuts, Seals and Spacers Pack below might help. Worn or faulty compatible freehub replacement simply requires a 10mm allen key and is much easier and cheaper than replacing the hub, since you won't need a new hub or rebuilding the wheel from scratch. Moreover, the drive side cup (for the hub's cup and cone bearings) is part of this freehub, so it will also replace that if your drive side cup is worn or pitted.

B) Drive Side Cone (9 in diagram above). This new Shimano drive side cone is compatible with hub model numbers M756, M752, M575, M570, M565, M555, M540, M535, M530, M525, M510, M330, A410, MX66, C901, C900, C501, C500, WH-R500, 5600, 5501, 5500, R505, IM50, T400, MC38, MC33, MC32, MC30, MC18, MC12.

C) Non-Drive Side Cone (11 in diagram above). This new Shimano non-drive side cone is compatible with hub model numbers M563, M525, M510, C501, C500, 4400, MC38, MC33, MC32, MC30, MC18, MC12. 16mm deep along the axle, with an integral dust shield of 25.5mm diameter, it might also work in other Shimano rear hubs, but no guarantee can be provided.

D) Hollow QR Rear Axle 146mm (10 in diagram above). This Shimano hollow steel axle is suitable for the vast majority of Shimano and similar cup and cone mountain/hybrid bike quick release rear hubs, which have distance between rear lock nuts (or distance between the frame's rear dropouts) of 135mm. These axles are ideal for replacing bent or damaged M10 x 1mm threaded quick release axles of XTR, XT, SLX, LX, Deore, Alivio, Acera and many other similar cup and cone hubs of other makes. A bent axle will accelerate wear not only of the hub's cup and cone bearings but also the chain and sprockets, it can also cause brake rub sapping your energy.

E) Locknuts, Seals and Spacers Pack (3+4+5+7+8+12+13+3+14 in diagram above). The pack includes two serrated M10 x 1mm threaded locknuts, and spacers/washers of 3mm, 3.7mm and 8mm as well as rubber seals and dust cover. They are really useful for building up suitable axle width to fit fork or frame dropouts.

F) Rear Quick Release Skewer (1 in diagram above). A genuine high quality Shimano QR rear skewer with alloy lever in black for quick release rear hubs of mountain bikes and hybrid bikes (which have rear hub width or distance between the rear dropouts of 135mm standard). It will also work fine with quick release rear hubs of 8 speed or above for drop bar road bikes (where rear hub width or distance between rear dropouts are 130mm standard), but the skewer will protrude an extra 5mm at the nut. These are high quality, internal cam, metal on metal, skewers with handles that will not trap a spinning wheel - many consider skewers with internal cam the only ones safe for bikes with disc brakes.

All the above parts are brand new never used, but may have cosmetic imperfection due to transport and storage. My prices are as low as can be. I do not offer discount on multiple items.

A question I often get asked, is whether certain Shimano parts are superior or inferior to those in another groupset in terms of quality. The simple demonstrable truth, is that many freehubs, cones, bearings and axles are identical across different groupsets, as groupsets can be seen having identical parts with the same product codes in Shimano's catalogues. So don't be misled by others telling you higher group parts are more expensive because they must be superior.
