Cocktail/party skirt from Carmen Marc Valvo Signature.  Seamed shaping at the top of the hips releases to an A-line, with vertical ruffles that move when you do.  Invisible side zip.

The print is a type of abstract floral of swirling aquas on white, a sheer skirt over a white inner lining to show off the print.  Please allow for differences in color displays on different computer monitors.  I try my best in the text description, but such are my photography skills.

I would have worn this with a silk blouse or silk tank top to summer cocktails or casual wedding, but never got around to it.  Purchased at Neiman-Marcus or Saks Fifth Avenue (I forget which, but those are my happy hunting grounds.)

Brand: Carmen Marc Valvo Signature.

Size on the label:  6, but please see measurements below for best fit guide.

Material:  100% silk shell.  I do not know what the lining is, but it feels satin-y.  Dry clean only.

Quality: excellent -- new is new.  No stains, tears, weird smells, etc.  It has been carefully stored in a smoke-free, pet-free home.  I recently retired, and finally doing some cleaning out of the closets.  While this skirt could have brought me joy (Marie Kondo style,) my lifestyle has changed from when I first purchased it.

MEASUREMENTS: these are the measurements of the actual garment, measured with the garment laying flat, i.e. double for bust, waist, hips.  It is best to compare to a garment that fits you well of a similar fabric and style.

   Waist: 14"

Hips, measured straight across, about 8" down from the natural waist: 20"

Overall length: waist to hem:  24"

TERMS: please ask any questions in advance of purchase as I DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS.  I try very hard to give an accurate description of the item the first time.

PAYMENT:  Paypal only, please.  U.S. buyers only, please, unless you can use eBay's international buying/shipping option.  I ship USPS with delivery confirmation within 48 hours of receipt of payment, often sooner.

Any additional charges for international sales, such as additional customs, taxes, shipping outside the USA, etc. are the responsibility of the buyer.

Please note: I no longer offer "free shipping" but separate out this cost to the buyer.  In 2022, the IRS vastly lowered the amount that sellers on third-party platforms (like eBay, Craig's List, Etsy, etc.) can earn without paying income tax.  I'm okay with paying tax on real income, but not on selling the stuff I'm trying to clear out as a retired senior citizen (and already paid sales tax on!).

So, to avoid paying income tax on shipping costs that would go right out the window to USPS, I specifically show what I ask the buyer to contribute to the shipping cost.  This is often less than what I will pay USPS.

The IRS postponed the red for 2023, but we'll see what happens in 2024 and beyond.

Thanks for looking!
