     OK guys and gals, here is a rare treat for you radio show fans.  I am listing some of my "HOUSE OF BLUES RADIO SHOW" shows.  

THE HOUSE OF BLUES HOUR is a weekly ONE hour ONE CD show in immaculate  condition looking like it was never played before and in fact it was probably played the day it aired and that's it.

 IF AVAILABLE, THE SHOW ALSO CONTAINS THE WEEKLY BLUES BREAKS DAILY SEGMENTS WHICH CONTAINS A SONG WITH AN ARTIST PROFILE AND OFTEN AN INTERVIWEW.  IF IT INCLUDES THE BLUES BREAKS IT WILL BE PICTURED. 

 Now, as to the show itself. Each show is hosted by blues expert Dan Akroyd, a charter member of the famous 'infamous' Blues Brothers.  He will lead you through an hour of the best blues and rock music of all time.  The show featured the kinds of blues that the Blues Brothers excelled in - blues with a rock touch although you will hear plenty of traditional blues as well.  It is an exciting hour with interviews and great music! 

        It is an hour of high energy blues and rock and you will love it.   You will learn a lot about music through this great show and the mix of music is terrific. You just cannot find these shows anymore.     

  The show aired weekly on the CBS RADIO NETWORKS IN THE EARLY YEARS OF THE SHOW AND LATER ON THE UNITED STATIONS RADIO NETWORK. 

 The cue sheet comes with the show and is in very good condition sometimes with notes from the board op who played the show made as the show progressed through its weekly hour.  

    The CD the show comes on is beautifully decorated with  graphic art of the show logo across the top as you can see in the listing.  It is one of the most beautiful radio shows that you will see. 

 It features music from the top blues and rock artists of all time in an entertaining and fascinating format always with a special theme or featured artist. 

This show was broadcast on FEBRUARY 16, 2002 AND IS SHOW #02-07

      Remember, this is the original show sent for airing.  It is NOT an unauthorized copy but the Real McCoy!!!   I personally guarantee that every radio show that I sell is the original show sent to stations.  Each show comes from my personal collection of over ten thousand radio shows of every genre.   Stations could use the show anytime during that weekend and then any remaining ended  up available to us all to enjoy. 

And since many stations threw them away after broadcast since they could never be broadcast again because of the dated commercials, there are likely only a few left. 

You are truly buying a  show that will only increase in value and I am selling them at a price very close to what I paid for it.    

     Remember that this and all the radio music shows that you see on eBay  are not just about the music - the music can be found anywhere.  It is the mixture of great music and great announcing that makes it so entertaining.  As well, it is a piece of radio and music  history and Americana.  You just aren't going to find these shows around very much longer since everything is now digitized  and downloaded for play and shows are no longer sent out on CD's. Think of what they will be worth in a few years!  (IF you wanted to sell.)  I am selling to share with other music lovers what I was able to get at a reasonable price.   It is a great show and would be a valuable addition to your collection.
