This device is used to convert coaxial cable to POF (plastic optical fiber)for use with DVD’s, DAT’s, Digital Headphones, and other Digital equipment.This device has an active IC circuit which takes the coaxial signal and converts it to a digital signal. There is a Toslink receptacle on one end and an RCA jack on the other end. The unit uses a 6V DC @ 250 mA power supply.
