I created these hard drive carriers for both the microSD and SD to IDE converters for vintage laptops.  You can find the microSD / SD to IDE converters for sale on eBay.  This carrier ensures that the SD to IDE hard drive does not flop around in the laptop, preventing the drive from shorting out if it comes in contact with metal.  It also takes up the space of a traditional hard drive so that you can push the drive into the machine (e.g. with the ThinkPad 701C), and so you can remove the drive (e.g. with a ThinkPad A30).  It has mounting holes for multiple styles of drives.  You can reuse your existing screws.

This auction is only for the plastic carrier; all of the pictures of electronics are for demonstration purposes.
