This is a magnificent Antique early to mid 1800s French enamel casket box.

It is presumed to be from old Sevres porcelain workshops or perhaps similar workshops of Brest France (Bressan).

The enameling is done on copper plaques, in this case 5 convex ones with Jeweled raised of thick features. The background is black with raised blue and white design. The box is at 5.25” by 3.5” and 3" high when closed. Beautiful elaborate bronze framework on this one includes heavy solid cabriole legs.

In perfect condition without any hairline cracks or repairs. The inside fabric and cushioning is original to the piece.
